In this blog I will write about the genesis of my debut album "Running Waters". I'll write about the magic experience of writing songs and about singing and playing the guitar. I'll write about the musicians who participate and our background as a band.

 I've been playing guitar since I was 13 years old, but singing is relatively new to me. Learning how to sing has been an interesting journey. I will certainly write more generally about creativity, because I think it's a fascinating subject.

Later I will write about artists who have meant something to me. This summer, there was a flood in my basement after a heavy downpour. My entire collection of vinyl records were destroyed. I had a large collection of LPs: blues, soul, funk and jazz from the 50s onwards. I really…
